Hi Noel,

thank you for your hint. It's embarrassing but after three days of investigation, I found I just had a paranoid firewall rule restricting UDP source ports as well as destination ports to 500 and 4500, thus limiting the thing to one connection max. After removing the source port limitation everything works fine.
