[strongSwan] Question regarding kernel-iph and kernel-wfp components

Dear all,

I am trying to use a Windows compiled version of Strongswan as a client in
an IPSEC IKEv2 environment, where the server assigns to the client a virtual
IP after a successful negotiation

In https://wiki.strongswan.org/projects/strongswan/wiki/windows

Clearly states that kernel-iph does not support this feature and therefore
Strongswan cannot be used in this scenario

My question is: Can be used kernel-wfp instead? What differences are between
these two plugins? Are they alternatives or complementary?

Thank you very much,
Carlos
