[strongSwan] How to upgrade strongswan package in transport mode network?

Hi,

I’m running 5.3.5 currently and would like to upgrade to 5.4.0. I’m running a mesh network in transport mode. I can’t take any network downtime. How could I go about upgrading strongswan without adversely affecting connections on hosts participating in the network?
