Why?  Why would you use such an old release (and a Developer's Release
at that)?  Just look in our repository's history for commits with
"android:" prefix [1] and you'll find several fixes since 5.3.0
(released over a year ago) regarding Android M/6 (officially released in
October last year) and building against newer SDKs.
