 If you run your OS on all cores, no. You may not run more
 than one
 charon daemon per OS instance.
 
 Even if you'd manage to get multiple charon processes
 running, I don't
 think there would be any benefit. charon should scale very
 well to
 multiple cores, already taking full advantage of multi-core
 systems.
