[strongSwan] uid:gid settings fpor stronngswan

Greetings,

I am about to compile strongswan.  I notice there are settings for  the 
uid/gid. 

I would like to know what are the advantages or disadvantages of running 
strongswan  as a user/group other than root:root.   AND I would also like to 
know what would be the recommended uid and gid for  a user:group pair for 
strongswan:strongswan. (-as example )
