[strongSwan] Error Notify Plugin Question

Greetings,

The error notify plugin is great to know when errors happen.

The question I have is when does the error clear?
Is there a rule of thumb I can use?
Is it error dependent?  For example IKE_SA / CHILD_SA is installed would be
considered a clearing event...

It would be great if the error-notify also notified when the connection
returned to normal.
