[strongSwan] Recommendation for IKEv2 Capable Client on Win XP

Hi Andreas,

thanks for the link, but it doesn't seem to be available anymore. Seems to have been replaced by HAremote.

Apart from that, how can I configure strongSWAN to prefer IKEv2, but fall back to "traditional" IKEv1 in case the client doesn't support IKEv2? Is there some kind of "auto recongnition" of the IKE version supported by the client?

to my knowledge the only Windows XP VPN client supporting IKEv2 is
softRemote from SafeNet:
