Thanks for the hint. I'll add an appropriate note to the ebuild. Applying a
patch that breaks other functionality or forcing the user to patch his kernel
is out of the question.
Andreas Steffen noted in his last mail that Strongswan will work with any
kernel as far back as 2.6.16. That brings me to the questions:
- Will Strongswan compile on any kernel as far back as 2.6.16 too?
- Is it a good idea (feature/security wise) to use 2.6.16 w/ Strongswan or
should a user be advised to use at least kernel 2.6.xx?
