[strongSwan-dev] building Android frontend with Android Studio

Hello,

I'm following the instructions here:
https://wiki.strongswan.org/projects/strongswan/wiki/AndroidVPNClientBuild

a few questions:

1) It seems like the notes in the documentation about vstr and openssl no
longer apply - is that correct?

2) I needed to symlink the strongswan source folder to /jni/strongswan,
and symlink strongswan/android-ndk-openssl to /jni/openssl for ndk-build to
run. Are these the correct symlink paths?
When running ndk-build, I also get errors like:
/Users/imran/Code/android/android/app/src/main/jni/openssl/Ssl-config.mk:132:
Unknown host architecture darwin-x86
and then it fails with the error:
/Users/imran/Code/android/android/app/src/main/jni/openssl/Apps.mk:33:
/Users/imran/Code/android-ndk-r10c/build/core/build-host-executable.mk: No
such file or directory

3) I'm still trying to figure out how to compile the native libraries (as
in my previous email). I've seen mention of a "tarball" which has the
libraries already compiled - is that available somewhere for download, in
case I can't compile it myself?

4) Has anyone build the Android client with Android Studio instead of
Eclipse?
I imported the project, and it seemed to import OK - I have the directory
structure as in this screenshot <http://tinypic.com/r/23w00va/8>. Does
this look correct?

appreciate the help,
imran
