[strongSwan] how to accelerate IPSec tunnel using “relay” server ?

Hi, 
I establised a ipsec tunnel using StringSwan between two counties far away , and I want to deploy a “relay” server  between these two counties to accelerate the tunnel network. 
Is it possible And what should I do?
