[strongSwan] route based IPsec supported ?

Hi,

I have some questions.
Does strongSwan support route based IPsec in tunnel mode ? So does it work
with AWS-VPN or Microsoft Azure ?

If it supported, could you please show me a sample configuration or test
scenario ?

I'm not sure how to specify tunnel interface or gateway to be IPsec packet
routed.
