[strongSwan] Using vti with strongswan

Hi,

I recently stumbled upon this :

"Strongswan has also introduced support for this kernel feature with
version 4.5.0."

Is there any documentation available for this?

Also, as per my understanding using vti requires both ends to use vti.
Is this correct?
