Hello all,

Did anyone else use “ipsec start --attach-gdb” to debug the
strongswan4.6.4? When I use that command it show me such information as
following:

===========================================

ipsec start --attach-gdb

Starting strongSwan 4.5.2 IPsec [starter]...

!! Your strongswan.conf contains manual plugin load options for

starter_stop_charon(): charon does not respond, sending KILL

charon stopped after 8200 ms

ipsec starter stopped

===============================================

>>>(gdb) charon too long to start... - kill kill

>>> (gdb) charon has died -- restart scheduled (5sec)

>>>Starting program: /tmp/lib/libexec/ipsec/charon

I wonder whether such information was abnormal? How to solve it ?

And if I enter ctrl-c button to stop the process it show me such information

>>>starter_stop_charon(): charon does not respond, sending KILL

>>>charon stopped after 8200 ms

>>>ipsec starter stopped

Than the charon process not exited? How to solve it ?

Thank you for your reply!
