[strongSwan-dev] Basic doubt on ikev1 rekey

HI,
Could anybody share your thoughts on how IKEv1 rekey works.Does IKE-SA
 rekey and IPSec-SA rekey happen independently? or whenever IKE-SA rekey
happens, it should trigger IPSec-SA rekey also?
