<p class="MsoNormal">I have a java process on a server that tries to connect to a remote host. When the tunnel to the remote host is established then it comes up quickly.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">When tunnel has been configured on server running the java process but the remote host is not running strongswan (this is a test case), then the java process tends to simply wait on connecting to the remote host.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Ideally I would like it to timeout, are there some settings at the tcp params level that would help make the java process realize it time to call quits.<o:p></o:p></p>
